Speyside Whisky Tour

My passion for whisky and the breathtaking landscapes of the Highlands runs deep. I take pride in curating intimate whisky tours that unveil the hidden gems of Scotland’s rich distilling heritage. With a blend of local expertise and passion for the golden nectar, I ensure an authentic and personalized journey for whisky enthusiasts from around the world.

Glenfarclas, GlenAllachie and Cardhu are must visit distilleries in my opinion. All three are small enough to offer the personal touch. There are others I recommend, especially Balvenie, but as ever the day is yours. Why not join us for a dram or two?

Slainte mhath! (That’s Gaelic for “Cheers!”)

Isle of Skye

our signature tour

One of our most requested tours, our one-day Skye trip will not leave you disappointed. We leave Inverness and make our way along Loch Ness with allowing you to take pictures and maybe sneak a peak of Nessie. Heading towards Skye, we have options to take and choices to make with the following itineraries.
Eilean Donan Castle, Sligachan, the Fairy Glen, the Quiraing, Kilt Rock & the Old Man of Storr and Portree, or…
The road to Glenelg and the last remaining manual turntable ferry, taking in the remarkable Five Sisters viewpoints along the way. On Skye we visit the Fairy Pools & Dunvegan Castle taking our time to view the breathtaking landscape before heading back off the island for a quick visit to Eilean Donan Castle for photographs.
As all tours are private and bespoke, please let me know if there’s anything else you’d like to see on this trip.

Loch Ness with Culloden Battlefield

Experience a day full of legends, history & fables. Enjoy a bespoke tour of Culloden Battlefield with Clava Cairns in the morning and then onto Loch Ness in the afternoon.

Highlights include Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre, the Loch Ness Centre & Urquhart Castle. There is the possibility of adding a boat cruise along Loch Ness but this would need to be booked well in advance.

Please note that the price of the tour does not include lunch/refreshments or admission to any tourist attractions you may want to visit.

As all tours are private and bespoke, please let me know if there’s anything else you’d like to see on this trip.

Glenfinnan, Glencoe & The Great Glen

Taking the quieter side along and above Loch Ness, our first stop is for the wonderful waterfalls at Foyers, after a short stop we head towards Fort Augustus experiencing wonderful views of lochs Mhor, Knockie and finally viewing were the Loch Ness flows into the Caledonian Canal.

There is the opportunity to stop at the Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge before heading on towards Glenfinnan for the Viaduct and the Monument. We can add flexibility after Glenfinnan depending on the weather. We can head further north taking in Arisaig and the wonderful beach at Morar Sands as seen in the film Local Hero. If the weather isn’t suitable then we can head towards the spectacular GlenCoe which looks wonderful in all weathers but especially after a bit of rain.

Once again, there is flexibility to mix and match various stops on this tour.

Custom Tours

our personalized tours

There may be other places and sights you would like to experience that I haven’t mentioned so far. Either section of the Culloden & Loch Ness tour can be extended to include trips to Beauly Priory, Glen Ord Distillery and the Black Isle where we may spot dolphins and other wonderful creatures.

Further north we can visit Tain for the Glenmorangie Distillery, Dunrobin Castle and its exciting falconry display. Heading further north there is Helmsdale which has a wonderful museum and the emotional Emigrants Monument remembering the clearances.

There may be places special to you and your family as you trace your genealogy, I will be happy to assist you with this.
